Wheel hub made of aluminum coated with Vulkollan ® flaps. The “VULKOLLAN® VENTILATED” wheel is universally used for dry operations on manual machines, automatic and robotic systems where the automatic tension recovery of the belt is provided. Studied from the request of wheels adaptable to various shapes of taps, it was later used when the adaptability of the wheel to the workpiece is the target (car industry- working aluminum mudguards, house industry- parts of steel chairs etc.)
The special crossing of the flaps produces an excellent belt cutting action, leaving less roughness on the workpiece than the grain of the belt used.
It is not a coincidence that, when it is used with belts from 60 to 320/380, it grants excellent results both in grinding and finishing workings.
The best results are obtained with the right working speeds shown on each wheel.
